Furniture with weight. Character without imitation.

Furniture, cabinetry and architectural joinery, handmade in seasoned teak and rosewood in the family workshop in Yangon. There is no catalogue. Each piece begins with a conversation, and each takes as long as it takes.

What defines the work

Weight

Solid timber throughout. A Kyaw Sein table takes two men to move, and that is the point.

Time

Teak is seasoned before it is cut and finished by hand over weeks, not days. We do not believe in fast work.

Craftsmanship

Traditional joinery, no visible fixings, and a workshop that has trained its own carpenters since 1993.
